The National Veterans Foundation’s Mission is to serve the crisis management, information and referral needs of all U.S. Veterans and their families through:
- Management and operation of the nation’s oldest toll-free, vet-to-vet helpline for all Veterans and their families.
- Public awareness programs that shine a consistent spotlight on the needs of America’s Veterans.
- Outreach services that provide Veterans and families in need with food, clothing, transportation, employment and other essential resources.
The mission of Grace After Fire is to provide the means for women Veterans to gain knowledge, insight and self-renewal.
We strive to bring back the sisterhood we shared while in the military, after we take the uniform off.
The Pat Tillman Foundation identifies remarkable military service members, veterans and spouses, empowering them with academic scholarships, lifelong leadership development opportunities and a diverse, global community of high-performing mentors and peers. These scholars are making an impact as they lead through action in the fields of healthcare, business, public service, STEM, education and the humanities.
Student Veterans of America® (SVA) elevates the academic, professional, and personal development of veterans in higher education through chapter programs and services, outcomes and impacts research, and advocacy at every level. With a mission focused on empowering student veterans, SVA is committed to providing an educational experience that goes beyond the classroom.
For the thousands of seriously wounded veterans in Afghanistan and Iraq, the struggle to overcome the challenges in their lives caused by the injuries and illnesses they sustained in combat is one that must be endured every day.
The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes was established to ensure that in return for the sacrifices they made for us, these wounded veterans and their families receive all the support needed to restore their hope and rebuild their lives.
Founded in 2004 as a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c) (3) organization, the Coalition is among the nation’s leading charities whose donors provide the wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn the aid and assistance needed for their long roads to recovery.
The Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) is the voice of women who have served or are currently serving in the military. We are a member-driven network dedicated to supporting, connecting, and advocating for the individual and collective needs of service women; past, present, and future.
Through legislative advocacy and research, SWAN has played a major role in opening all military jobs to service women, holding sex offenders accountable in the military justice system, eliminating barriers to disability claims for those who have experienced military sexual trauma, and expanding access to a broad range of reproductive healthcare services for military women.
USA Cares provides financial and advocacy assistance to post-9/11 active duty US military personnel, veterans and their families.
DAV MISSION STATEMENT
We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
The Military Women’s Memorial honors and tells the stories of women, past and present, who serve our nation.
The social network by, for, and about service members and veterans. Peer counseling. Job placement. Mentorship. The largest social network from the military helping you lead your best life.
